Log in to your Lightspeed backend. Then click on the menu item "Apps" in the main navigation on the left side.
The app selection based on your search will then appear. Select the plugin "Trusted Shops® trustmark and customer reviews" from this list.
Install the app by clicking the green button "Install App" in the upper right corner.
After the click, the Trusted Shops plugin is installed automatically by your Lightspeed backend. Once the installation is complete, a login window will open. Enter your login data for Lightspeed in the input fields.
Then let the registration process run through to the end. With the completion of the registration process the Trusted Shops plugin is successfully installed. You are now automatically redirected to the configuration page.
Next, we will show you how you can display the Trustbadge® technology and configure it according to your individual requirements:
The unique Trustbadge® technology makes it so simple to collect, manage and display your customer reviews in your shop. You can also easily integrate your trustmark and offer the guarantee.
To display the Trustbadge in your shop, enter your individual Trusted Shops ID into the input field "Install a new Trusted Shops ID” in the plugin. You will find your Trusted Shops ID (starting with X...) in your welcome e-mail that you received from Trusted Shops. Then click on the "add" button.
After you have entered and successfully saved the Trusted Shops ID, the plugin automatically switches to the configuration screen. There you can choose between the standard and the expert mode.
Notice: Expert mode offers more options, but also requires advanced knowledge of code.
Now go to the section "Configure the Trustbadge for your shop". There you can adjust the Trustbadge according to your wishes.
Under "Variant" (1) you can choose whether you want to display the Trustbadge with or without star ratings in your shop.
By default, the Trustbadge is displayed in the lower right corner of the shop. By entering a pixel number in the "Offset" (2) field, the Trustbadge on the right-hand edge of the screen can be moved upwards. Click on "Save" to implement the adjustments.
Once you have completed these steps, you can now test the function of your Trustbadge. To do this, place a test order in your shop. When the Trustcard (“Guarantee Card") appears at the end of your order, you have integrated the Trustbadge into your shop and the guarantee is active.
Notice: To collect and display product reviews, you must first log in to your My Trusted Shops account here.
To collect and display product reviews in your shop, first scroll down to the "Collect product reviews" section. Place a checkmark next to "Active".
After you have ticked the box, two further sections will open with the drop-down menus "Product Reviews" and “Product Review Stars".
If you activate product reviews, the reviews collected for a product are integrated into the product detail page via an additional tab.
To activate this function, you have to set the option "show" in the drop-down menu “Product Reviews".
If you have activated the integration on the product detail pages, you can configure the display according to your wishes in the following step.
It is possible to adapt the colours of the frame (1), the star ratings (2) and the background (3) to your shop design. To do this, enter the corresponding hexadecimal code in the respective input field.
It is also possible to display the corresponding star ratings on the product detail page below the product name.
If you want to use this function, select the "show" setting in the “Product Review Stars" drop-down menu.
Now you have the possibility to configure the display of the star ratings for product reviews according to your wishes.
It is possible to adjust the colour of the stars (1), the size of the stars (2) and the font size (3). Enter the corresponding hexadecimal code for the colour adjustment of the stars in the input field. You can define the size of the stars and the font by entering the desired number of pixels in the respective fields.
Do you have a multi-shop, for example to sell your products in different languages? Then you will be using multiple Trusted Shops IDs. Here you will learn how to configure your shop individually with several Trusted Shop IDs.
The prerequisite for configuring a shop with multiple languages is that you have added additional languages in your Lightspeed backend. You can find out how to store other languages in Lightspeed here.
Return to the Trusted Shops plugin once you have added the new languages. To do so, select the menu item "Apps" (1) in the main navigation on the left side and then click on "Purchased Apps" (2).
In the list that opens, select the plugin "Trusted Shops® trustmark and customer reviews" and then click on the button "Go to App".
You will now be taken back to the overview page of the Trusted Shops plugin, where you can enter another Trusted Shops ID in the input field "Install a new Trusted Shops ID". Then click on "add".
You will then be automatically forwarded to the configuration screen of the Trusted Shops ID you have just added. Configure the new shop now as described above - independent of your main shop - according to your individual needs.
